Anthony Tata

Brigadier General, U.S. Army (retired) Special Advisor

Anthony J. Tata is a retired U.S. Army Brigadier General with a distinguished 28-year military career. He served in various leadership roles, including commands in the 82nd Airborne and 101st Airborne Divisions. Tata briefly performed the duties of Under Secretary of Defense for Policy from November 2020 to January 2021.

After his military service, Tata transitioned to civilian roles, serving as North Carolina’s Secretary of Transportation and Superintendent of Wake County Public School System. He has also held leadership positions in defense and infrastructure companies.

Tata is a West Point graduate with additional degrees from Catholic University of America and the U.S. Army’s School of Advanced Military Studies. He was also a National Security Fellow at Harvard University’s JFK School of Government.

Currently, Tata serves as a senior advisor to Intertec Engineering, supporting strategic development and go-to-market plans. He is also a special advisor to 4Ever Charge, leveraging his extensive experience in military and civilian leadership roles to contribute to the company’s strategic initiatives.
